Torchlight descent for kids

This is a unique and unrepeatable experience for our young students, who have the opportunity to ski the slopes of the Val di Zoldo Skiarea, illuminated for the occasion only by the torches and lights of our instructors and students. The kids and teens will be accompanied by their instructors, who will guide and follow them during these unforgettable evenings. The event starts at the bottom of the white gondola lift (Piazzale Rodolfo BALESTRA). From here, children, even the youngest, will be assigned to the ski instructors who will guide them during the ride up and throughout the descent.

The children will be provided with an electric torch, the use of torches with fire is reserved for instructors or ski school staff.

It is recommended that children wear the ski course vest provided at the start of each group course and it is important that children do not carry poles.

It is important for each parent to ask the ski instructor if the child has reached the necessary skiing level to be able to ski the torchlight descent safely.

Parents can watch the final part of the descent, waiting for the children at the gondola lift, or even better at the 'Le Coste' chairlift, so that they can watch the spectacular descent at its best, support the kids with a good cheer and take some nice photos for the memory.

Torchlight skiing is a free event and organised exclusively for our students. For insurance reasons, children from outside the ski school or accompanying parents cannot participate.

The torchlight procession is an unforgettable event for the children, all made possible thanks to the collaboration with Val di Zoldo ski area, which guarantees our instructors maximum assistance and safety conditions on the slope and downhill.

The Ski School reserves the right to postpone/cancel the torchlight skiing if weather conditions do not permit it or the number of participants is not suitable for the organisation of the event.

Children and young people will be accompanied by their instructors, who will guide and follow them during these unforgettable evenings.
